To Do list (note to self: Do not misplace this list, you will get in SO much trouble and you haven't even done anything yet)

1. Plan and implement prank, Astoria Greengrass
2. Plan and implement prank, Rosie's dormmates (Note: warn Rosie, 5 min prior, codeword: Lemon)
3. Birthday present of some sort (belated), Emma
4. Plan and implement prank, Prof Umbridge (Note: Carefully! Don't actually want to get caught for this one. Be patient.)
5. Continue attempts for Team Future-People Quidditch team
6. Try to remember anything that hasn't been included on list yet
7. Homework, all subjects

Hmmm...

Perhaps this is a strange question, but does anyone know if ferrets like eating fish?

OOC Note: Any prank suggestions any of you would like to see, feel free to OOC-comment with them and, just maybe, James will do them for your personal amusement! :P

Actually, most ferrets hate fish. They generally won't eat fish or anything containing fish. Why? Oh! Is this about Scruffy???

Boo. And no, not specifically about Scruffy, mostly ferrets in general, though I admit, he/it was the original inspiration for my now pointless idea.

I'm sorry, James, but its the truth. Truly sorry. What were you going to do anyway?

I would have no idea. We've just been giving him the stuff the supplier suggests.
...Why?

No reason, apparently.

Do you happen to know if there's any sort of food at all that ferrets react to like cats react to catnip?

Homework? Tested theory and proven correct. I whined about it enough so everyone should know that by now.

Hmm. I don't think homework's going to work. Maybe I'll have to work with another kind of animal, then.

What about.. a goat? Goats go crazy over anything.

Huh. That's an idea. How do you suppose I could manage to sneak a goat into the school, though? Hypothetically, of course. Because responsible students don't do that sort of thing.

But seriously, can you think of where I'd find a goat?

I could smuggle one in for you. No one ever suspects the quiet Ravenclaw.

Could you? That would be awesome! I'm not sure when I would need it yet, as the prank plan it in necessary for is still in the drawing board stages of my mind, but I'll certainly let you know.

You quiet Ravenclaws really are full of surprises. Everyone always suspects the loud, excitable Gryffindor.

Of course! I'm a great smuggler. Well, maybe I am. I'm not quite sure yet.

That is true, we do. But then again you give us reasons to expect something great is coming. Whereas if I went ahead with a plan and confessed to doing it everyone would look at me like I was nuts and give the credit and the detentions to someone like you.

James, I do trust that you are behaving yourself and only asking such a question for class related reasons.

Private to James
Whatever you are planning try to do so carefully. I would prefer not to give one of my best friend's grandson detention.

Oh, yes. Of course, class-related purposes. Indeed. Kind of a Care of not-quite-Magical Creatures thing, you know?

Private to Professor Lupin
Grams doesn't seem to have any problems giving me detention herself. So, you know, don't feel guilty, should the situation arise.
